2018 Annual Meeting
On November 18th 2019 The Bridge Church at Bear Creek will hold it’s first annual meeting where we will vote to:
Affirm Jeff Lynch as Elder
Approve 2019 Budget
Below you will find details on both issues. Please review them BEFORE the annual meeting and contact email@example.com if you have questions about either agenda items. On the day of the meeting there will be a short presentation and then a simple vote by the members in good standing. There will not be a time for questions at the event so please address your concerns with the staff or Elders prior to November 18th.
Introducing Jeff Lynch
Jeff was born in Kansas City and raised in suburban Chicago. He’s an alum of Colorado State where he attended from 1965-69 and met his wife, Jill while attending CSU. Jeff and Jill got married in December of 1968 and have 2 children: Ryan who lives in New York City and Trista who lives in Conifer.
Jeff was raised in a nominally Christian family with his parents and two sisters, but did not come to the Lord until age 30. Jill and Jeff thought they should expose the kids to church and through solid preaching and teaching and the Holy Spirit, they both accepted Christ in 1979. The Lynches were members of Bear Creek Presbyterian Church from February, 1980 until the church merged with Bridgeway to form The Bridge earlier this year. Jeff Spent 37 years as an insurance adjuster, manager, corporate trainer and Director of Training for an independent insurance adjusting company. Jeff also has a great zeal for fly fishing and golf.
Jeff has an extensive history of serving Jesus and His church. After retirement, Jeff volunteered and worked at HIV CareLink for 5 years. HIV CareLink is a Christian ministry helping people with HIV/AIDS in the Denver metro area. He has taught Children’s Sunday School (4 yr. olds), served as an Elder, taught adult Sunday School, participates in the weekly pizza lunch outreach to BCHS, and has a passion for discipling men.
Jeff gratefully states, “The only reason I am here today is God’s grace and Christ’s sacrifice.”
The Bridge Church at Bear Creek is in a strong position going into 2019. From Jan - September of 2018 we were able to put more than $73K in the bank, giving us a total reserve of more than $200K and setting us up to make some key financial investments in our facilities and ministry development in 2019.
If you have questions about either of the above agenda items please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to setup a time to meet with a pastor or Elder. In order to ensure an efficient meeting and use of time we will not be taking questions at the annual meeting. The format will be a simple presentation and then a written vote. We want to be sure that all questions are addressed prior to the meeting so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
